High refrigerant pressure error

Typically a high refrigerant pressure error is caused by insufficient water circulation

Make sure the skimmer is not clogged.

Make sure the circulation pump basket is not obstructed.
Make sure the backwash has been done.
Make sure the diverter valve is in the closed position and the water inlet and outlet valves are in the open position.
Make sure the circulation pump is operating normally.
If the problem persists, please contact us.
If there are three high pressure readings in the last hour, reset the circuit breaker or press the Power button for 5 seconds.

Low refrigerant pressure error

Usually a low pressure error is caused by a leak, but it is important to do some checking.

Make sure the fan is working.
Make sure the evaporator is not blocked.
If the error code occurs 3 times in the same hour, it is important to contact us and take the following precautions: Close the circulation pump, open the bypass valve and close the water inlet and outlet valves . Afterwards, you can restart the circulation pump. If your circulation pump is controlled by the heat pump, it will be automatically closed. You will then need to reset the circuit breaker or press the Power button for 5 seconds after following the previous steps.

Insufficient water flow

Generally, a water flow error indicates that there is no water circulating inside the heat pump.

Make sure the circulation pump is running.
Make sure there are no obstructions in the water filtration system (skimmer, filter pump).
Make sure the diverter valves allow water to circulate through the heat pump.
If the problem persists, please contact us.

Delta pressure error

The compressor anomaly means that the compressor does not start despite a heating request.
If the problem persists, please contact us.

Water inlet probe error, open circuit

The anomaly of the water inlet temperature sensor means that it is disconnected.
A check of the probe connection is required. If the problem persists, please contact us.

Water inlet probe error, short circuit

The water inlet temperature sensor malfunction means that it is short-circuited or defective.
A check of the probe connection is required. If the problem persists, please contact us.

Air sensor error, open circuit

The air temperature sensor malfunction means that it is disconnected.
A check of the probe connection is required. If the problem persists, please contact us.

Air sensor error, short circuit

The temperature sensor abnormality means that it is short-circuited or defective.
A check of the probe connection is required. If the problem persists, please contact us.

Defrost probe error, open circuit

The defrost temperature sensor malfunction means that it is disconnected.
A check of the probe connection is required. If the problem persists, please contact us.

Water Delta temperature error

The anomaly is generally due to insufficient water circulation.

Backwash reminder
Note that once a week, you will receive a reminder notification to perform the backwash.
Evaporator Wash Reminder
Note that every 60 days, you will receive a reminder notification to wash your evaporator.

More answers

Insufficient or nonexistent water flow from the pool heat pump

The pool heat pump must have a minimum water flow. Low and/or non-existent water flow can cause the heat pump to malfunction. Some heat pump models will display an error code if the water circulation is low.

Power supply failure

The problem with the pool heat pump operation may be due to power or electrical current problems. Power to the heat pump can be interrupted in the following situations: A bad connection or faulty wiring causes the circuit breaker to trip. The presence of cracks or bulges in the capacitors prevents the heat pump from starting electrically.

Heat pump incompatible with the water capacity of your swimming pool

If your heat pump is working but not heating your pool water sufficiently, it may be a sizing problem. This means that the heat pump is not suitable for the amount of water that needs to be heated. Check with your supplier to ensure that your heat pump is suitable for the size of your pool.

Evaporator coil clogged or blocked

It is important to keep the evaporator coil clear to ensure proper air circulation for the pool heat pump. If the coil is clogged and/or blocked, the heat pump will not be able to heat your pool effectively. Be sure to properly clear the coil to ensure adequate airflow to the heat pump.

Low ambient temperature

In rare cases, some heat pump models require a temperature above 32 F (0 C) to operate properly. If the temperature is too low, your heat pump may not be able to heat the water adequately or at all.

Problem with the refrigerant pressure

The refrigerant contained in the heat pump plays an essential role in the production of heat when it is compressed by the compressor. If the pressure is too low or too high, the heat pump may not heat properly:

  • Too low pressure usually indicates that the temperature is too low for the pool heat pump to operate and produce heat efficiently.
  • Too much pressure is often a sign of a water flow problem. This means that there is not enough circulating water to effectively transport heat.
Incorrect setting of the thermostat

If the heat pump is working but not heating your pool, the thermostat may be set incorrectly. Make sure the heat pump thermostat is set higher than the pool water temperature for optimal operation.

Insufficient operating time

The heat pump requires sufficient run time to heat the pool water. It is recommended to run the heat pump continuously for several days to heat the water efficiently.
