Unlike heat pumps designed for air conditioning, Nirvana pool heat pump development has a northern climate in mind. The performance of our units at low temperatures (HSPF index, Heating Season Performance Factor) gives us a strong competitive advantage. The COP (coefficient of performance) of a heat pump expresses the relationship between the quantity of heat produced and the energy required to produce it. In other words, a COP of 5 will generate $5 worth of heat from $1 worth of electricity. With Nirvana units, you get a high COP even at low temperatures. Lowest noise level on the market

While most products generate noise levels between 70-90 decibels, the Nirvana pool heat pump produces less than 60 decibels. Noise reduction has always been a major concern at Nirvana, and today, a number of our technological breakthroughs are effectively eliminating noise pollution and making life much more carefree for Nirvana users. Durability and performance tailored to weather extremes

The components used in the manufacture of our heat pumps are chosen for their capacity to perform well under northern weather extremes. As an example, a recent test conducted on our pool heaters demonstrated that the defrosting cycle was triggered at temperatures below 3 degrees C (35° F).
